Never drive into a street you have to reverse out of.
Every other navigator saves you two minutes and sends your SUV into an alley built for donkeys. DriveComfort knows how wide your car is and chooses the road that fits. You arrive calm.
The voice says continue straight. The walls say otherwise. There is a car behind you and nowhere to turn.
Mirrors folded, passengers silent.
Ten centimetres on each side, a rental deposit on the line, and a scooter coming the other way.
All of it to save two minutes.
Ordinary navigation optimises for time. It has no idea what you are driving, so it cannot know the road does not fit.
A driver of a large car would rather spend 31 minutes on an easy road than 27 minutes in a medieval alley. DriveComfort understands that difference.
Same street. Different car. Different answer.
This is a real kind of street in Sicily: one way, 2.65 m between the walls, a tight bend at the end. Pick a car and see what the engine thinks.
Street, 2.65 m wall to wall

Scores are from the actual DriveComfort engine. The same cars all score 93 on the main road next door.
How it keeps you out of trouble
It knows your car.
Width with mirrors, length, turning circle, weight. The Kia EV9 is 2.30 m across the mirrors, and the engine never forgets it.
It scores every road for that car.
Width, road type, bends against your turning circle, surface, alley risk and what other drivers reported. Unknown roads are treated with caution, never as safe.
One bad street rejects the whole route.
A route that averages 88 but squeezes you through a 2.4 m gap is not a good route. DriveComfort throws it out and asks for another way around.
Missed a turn? Still safe.
Every reroute goes back through the same engine. You are never handed a raw "fastest" route into the old town because you missed an exit.
It shows its work.
No black box. Tap once and see exactly why a route was chosen: the streets you skip, the tight spots that remain, and your car drawn to scale inside the road.

A real result from Modica, Sicily, for a Kia EV9. One extra minute removes two thirds of the tight streets.
For everyone who drives electric
Chargers on your road. Not in a village 5 km away.
You are on the motorway at 18 %. Your navigator proudly suggests a charger that turns out to be down a side road, through a village, behind a supermarket. DriveComfort lets you decide how far from your route a charger may be, and shows nothing beyond it.

You set the limit.
From 100 m to 1.5 km. At 250 m you only see chargers you practically drive past.
Only what is ahead, in the order you reach it.
Nothing behind you, nothing on the other side of the mountain. Passed chargers disappear as you drive.
Closed and broken chargers are left out.
Stations marked closed or out of order are hidden, or shown clearly in red if you prefer to see them. Status comes from map and community data, so a charger can still be busy when you arrive.
Your networks, your power.
Pick the operators you have a card for and the minimum power you want. If nothing on the route reaches it, slower chargers are shown and clearly marked instead of an empty list.
Add it as a stop, keep your destination.
The arrival time then includes the minutes you spend charging to the level you chose.
Built for the whole drive
Drive the route before you drive it.
Play the whole thing back from the driver’s seat at 2x, 4x, 6x or 10x, or scrub through it like a film. The camera zooms with the speed limit on each road, so you see the tight bit coming while you are still on the sofa.
Your garage, not a settings screen.
Keep every car you drive — the estate, the van, the rental — with its real width, height and length. The app asks which one you are in, and if it is electric, how much charge is in it, before it plans anything.
Turn-by-turn that stays calm.
A clear next turn, a camera that looks down the road, spoken prompts at the right moment, and a badge that confirms you are on a comfort route.
An arrival time that includes charging.
Add a charger as a stop on the same trip. Tell it your charge level and the level you want, and the arrival time includes the minutes at the charger.
Weather where you will be, when you will be there.
Rain, snow, or temperatures outside your limits are checked for the hour you pass each part of the route, in Celsius or Fahrenheit. If it looks bad, it suggests a better time to leave.
Say when you want to be there.
Give it an arrival time and it works backwards to when you must leave, counting the charging stops, the ferry crossings and — on a trip too long for one day — the nights. Save the trip and get a reminder before you go.
One tap to warn the next driver.
Too narrow, bad surface, difficult turn, blocked — or the height of a bridge you just measured. Only 0.16 % of roads carry a height limit in the map data, so a driver who reports a 3.2 m arch protects every van behind them the same afternoon. The lowest measurement wins, never the average.
Made for the car screen.
A calm CarPlay view: the map, the next turn, your arrival time and a clear sign that you are on a comfort route. Settings stay on the phone.

A navigator sees where you live and where you go. We built this one as if it were our own family in the car.
No account. Ever.
No e-mail, no name, no sign-in. The app identifies itself with a random number that you can erase.
Sharing is off until you turn it on.
Anonymous driving data helps find streets where big cars get stuck. It is opt-in, and the first and last 300 m of every trip never leave your phone.
Delete everything with one button.
One tap in Settings erases what our server holds about your installation. Raw data is deleted after 30 days regardless.
No ads. No tracking. No selling.
You pay once for the app. That is the whole business model.
Stored in the EU. Always.
Our server and database run in Frankfurt, Germany, under EU data protection law. Nothing we hold about you is stored outside the EU.
Outside services see a road, not a person.
Weather comes from MET Norway, charger data from OpenStreetMap and Open Charge Map, maps from Apple. They receive points along a route through our server, never who is asking.

Less than the coffee you will need after one wrong alley.
DriveComfort starts where the problem is worst: Sicily. Detailed road intelligence currently covers Taormina, Castelmola, Savoca, Cefalù, Erice, Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Noto and Ortigia, and grows from there. Routing, chargers and weather already work everywhere. CarPlay availability depends on Apple approving the app.
Be the first to drive calm.

Questions
Is this a replacement for Google Maps or Waze?
No. It does one thing they do not: it chooses roads that fit your car. If you drive a small car in a city you know, you do not need it. If you drive something wide somewhere old, you do.
Which cars does it support?
It launches with the Kia EV9 as the reference car and a catalogue of large SUVs, vans and motorhomes. The same street is scored differently for each one.
How does it know how wide a road is?
From map data where it exists, and careful estimates where it does not, always with a confidence level. An unknown width is never assumed to be fine. Driver reports and anonymous driving patterns improve it over time.
How much longer are the comfort routes?
You set the limit, 10 % by default. In our Sicilian tests the comfort route is often one or two minutes longer, and sometimes it is the fastest route anyway.
Does it work outside Sicily?
Navigation, chargers along the route and weather work anywhere. The detailed road scoring is rolling out region by region, starting in Sicily.
Do I need an electric car?
No. The charging features are a switch in settings. The road scoring is for any large vehicle.
