DriveComfort plans routes that suit the size of your vehicle, so a wide car is not sent down a lane it cannot pass. If something does not work, or a route was wrong, please tell us - a description of the road is often all we need to fix it.
What to include when reporting a problem
- Where it happened - a street name, a town, or the start and end of the route.
- What you expected, and what the app did instead.
- Your vehicle choice in the app, for example a large SUV or a van.
- The app version and your iPhone model, if you know them.
- Your install id from the app's settings, if the problem concerns your own data.
A route sent me down a road that was too narrow
Report it in the app on the road itself, or write to us with the street. Road widths come from map data where it exists and from careful estimates where it does not, each with a confidence level. Driver reports are what improve the estimates fastest.
Which areas are covered?
Detailed road intelligence starts in Sicily and grows from there. Outside a covered area the app can still plan a route, but it has less to say about how comfortable the roads are.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no e-mail address. The app identifies itself with a random install id, which you can erase at any time.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: Settings → Delete all my data. That erases your installation, trips, preferences, vehicle profiles, recorded driving points and route explanations from our server. The privacy policy says exactly what is deleted and what is kept as anonymous road knowledge.
Is my driving recorded?
Only if you switch on sharing of anonymous driving data in Settings, which is off by default. Even then, the first and last 300 m of every trip never leave your phone, and raw points are deleted after 30 days.
Can I use it with CarPlay?
Yes. Guidance keeps running with the screen off or while CarPlay shows another app.
Privacy, data access and erasure requests
Write to us. You can ask what we hold about your installation, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or object to a use. Include your install id so we can find the right records.
Service status
The backend has a health endpoint at /up. If the app cannot reach the server, that page is the quickest way to tell whether the problem is on our side.
